Water Conservation Event for grade 4 students!

The Great Lake Water Festival is an annual event designed to motivate students in Grade 4 to become water stewards in their homes, classroom, and community. Activity stations combine interactive, hands-on learning opportunities for students to ‘soak up’ knowledge on water conservation and protection, water health and safety, water science and technology, water and society , and indigenous water teachings.

2019 Great Lake Water Festival is Thursday, Jun 6 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lake Ontario Park (King St. West at Country Club Drive, Kingston ON)

Registration is now open – please use the form below to register your class for the water festival. Busing is the responsibility of the registrant. Students will need to arrive at Lake Ontario Park between 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM and the festival runs until 2:00 PM. Split Grade 3/4 and 4/5 classes are welcome. Please book your bus AFTER your registration is confirmed. Classes will be split into two groups, please make sure you have enough teachers/parent volunteers to lead each group.
