#HikeCRCA Challenge September 1 to October 31 Grab your family and friends and take part in the Third Annual #HikeCRCA Challenge. Hike the designated “Challenge Trail” at each of our Conservation Areas and on the Cataraqui Trail, take a photo with the challenge signs, post your photos on social media, then fill out the Challenge Entry Form for a chance to win some awesome prizes. The Real Bat Man Saturday, October 26 (1:00 PM) REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR AGES 7 AND UP As mysterious as they are integral to our ecosystem, the oft-misunderstood bat is the central topic in on of the CRCA’s most popular recurring public education events. Back by popular demand, bat expert Matt Saunders, aka The Real Bat Man, will help enlighten, educate and demystify folks about these flying rodents as part of a special presentation at the Outdoor Centre at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area, on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. His one-hour presentation is suitable for ages seven and up
