The CRCA employs a variety of full-time staff including administration, operations and technical staff.
Our administration staff include secretarial, accounting and management personnel. Administration staff answer the phones, prepare budgets and strategies, pay the bills, prepare meeting agendas and minutes for our board meetings, and work closely with municipal councils and community groups.
Operations staff operate and maintain our conservation areas, boat ramps, dams, other properties and our facilities. They build trails, bridges, docks and buildings. Operating and maintaining equipment like chainsaws, trail groomers, tractors, snowplows and vehicles is also done by our operations staff.
Technical staff take care of our planning, watershed management, forestry, GIS, education and communications programs. They prepare maps; monitor, collect and analyze watershed data; review development proposals and planning applications; develop and deliver school and public education programs; provide forestry and other environmental services to landowners; develop publications, news releases, advertising, and websites.
We also hire part-time staff to work in our conservation areas and summer staff to work in various program areas.
